WHAT HAS BEEN DONE SINCE THE COMPULSORY CLOSURE?

We have been working extremely hard throughout the compulsive closure to ensure that RHC offers the safest environment for our staff and members. We have carried out an extensive deep clean and will continue the highest standards of cleanliness once reopen with increased sanitising, both by hand and with an on-site fogging machine. Our Gym equipment has been re-spaced to allow for social distancing and numerous hand-sanitising stations have been installed. The new gym layout hosts a one-way system to eliminate unnecessary contact and PPE sneeze guards have been erected at our reception area. At RHC we host a fresh air Air-Conditioning system, which carries out a continuous air change and is the only ventilation system approved by the UK Government.

Along with COVID Prevention preparation we have also spent the time improving our current offering by giving the Gym a brand new look, fully renovating the Ladies showers and changing facilities and installing a brand new coffee/shake bar and lounge.

WILL THE CHANGING FACILITIES & SHOWERS BE OPEN?

Following Government guidelines it is advised that members should arrive ready for their workout and avoid using the changing facilities and showers whenever possible. With this in mind our changing rooms and shower facilities will be open to members that need to use them.

We will no longer be able to hold personal belongings such as car keys at reception and therefore it is highly recommended that members use the lockers provided. All members MUST collect a bottle of surface sanitiser & J-Cloth from reception upon arrival to sanitise equipment before & after use. This bottle should be carried on your persons throughout your visit to avoid any double handling of the surface sanitiser bottles. When leaving, your bottle should be returned to reception and Cloth disposed of in the bin near by. Your bottle will then be sanitised by a member of staff and redistributed with a new Cloth.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

We would like to remind our members that should they be feeling unwell or be showing any symptoms of Corona Virus that they should stay at home! Members are encouraged to regularly wash and sanitise their hands while onsite. You will find hand-sanitising stations in main contact areas throughout the full facility. All gym equipment has been re-spaced to allow for social distancing. We ask members to be aware of social distancing when moving through the facility, giving way to members at pinch points and obeying the Gym floor one way system to eliminate contact.

HOW LONG CAN I STAY AT THE GYM?

Although you will not have to book to attend the Gym, we do ask our members to be mindful of others and complete your workout in a timely manor.
